Court Street Academy Reviews
When I visited this school I was pleased with what I saw. The classrooms were inviting and spacious. The children that I observed were orderly and happy. I believe the staff cares for their students and families enough to go beyond what you would expect. This is a well established school and a light in the community.
Court Street Academy provides students and parents in the Hampton Roads area with the perfect alternative to public school instruction. Classes are very small, and the teachers are dedicated. The curriculum is current, and students are afforded many opportunities for academic and social growth. Weekly chapel services and an emphasis on character education in every classroom provide Court Street Academy students a well-rounded education. Low tuition fees and a convenient location allow this school to serve the needs of a diverse population.
This school is horrible. Acedemics are not their first priority. The school is not safe; there is no punishment or consequences to your actions. There was a bullying problem this year and the offender was never punished even though it was brought to the administration’s attention more than once. If you have a problem with the staff or what is being taught the adminstration will not listen to you. Character is stressed but not followed by many of the teachers or adminstration. I would not recomend this school to anyone.
