Fallon Park Elementary School Reviews
Need for improvments
I have recently moved from the county into the city and theres no comparison when it comes to county and city schools. I have found that that city schools lack in several areas. Chaos when it comes to dropping off and picking up your child. In the mornings the busses drop off onside of fallon park which is where the parents who need to walk their child in have to park. In the evenings busses are in front and parents on the side with absolutely no structure what so ever. Pretty much you manuver in and out of the cars. In the very least it should be someone in the parking area to stop children from dodging in and out of cars. I am not impressed with the informity of the way some teachers talk to and address students. Yelling their names out to correct there behavior. And come on my child has been there a year and is still being called the wrong name for heavens sake. With the exception of the young lady who meets the child inside and calls each by their name and tells them good morning the teachers just seem to go through the motions. Each child is different and need to be treated as an individual. Sometimes what applies for one should not apply for the other. There are unique situations and taking away recess every week because a child has not completed there homework is not the answer expecially when the child falls well below her grade level and can not understand the work that is given. Ridiculous punishing a child because their mental compasity is not the ssame as there classmates.
