I am committed to this preschool. I had not idea I wanted a co-op experience when my older son was starting preschool, but after a failed first try with one in a Elementary school, I found the BOCP and when I saw that it had a nursery to help me with my then 18 month old when I was on duty - I couldn't see a reason to not try it. My son played during his tour (after 3 days in his first school not doing a thing) and while he went through many rounds of separation issues, by the time he started Kindergarten he walked in happily and never looked back! He still loves to go back to Open Houses for his little brother's experience at BOCP and show Teacher Nancy all the things he's capable of now. This school is a part of my family now!

Carla Cummings: Nancy is AMAZING! My daughter (CiCi) was in this preschool 10 years ago and she still remembers her wonderful experience!

Laura: This is our son's first school experience, and it has been wonderful. I really appreciate that teacher Nancy meets each child where they are developmentally and emotionally, and creates a very fun an nurturing environment. It is also very nice being in a community of parents where we are all invested in the success of every child in the classroom, and we support each other both inside and outside the classroom.

Edgar: My daughter loves the school. She has learned so many things that it is hard to believe she has only been there for a few months.
The teacher is great, she is so kind and sweet with the children that they really enjoy coming to the preschool.
The community of parents around the school is also some of the things I like most about the school, they are always willing to support and help in order to make a better school for our children. I’m really surprise how well organized the school is, in terms of budget, meetings, roles, etc.
The Parent’s Education is also outstanding; there is so much to learn from our kids that some kind of guidance is always helpful. Also hearing and sharing other parent’s experiences with their children is priceless.
The cost is affordable and some scholarships are offered in case someone needs help.
One of the biggest advantages over other preschools is the level of involvement that we as parents have with our children development. It is not easy but it is completely worthwhile. We have a first class seat in the education train of our child.
The only caveat to the school is that it is only 2 days per week for the 3’s and 3 days for the 4’s. I wish my daughter could attend at least one more day, but we will have to wait until she turns 4.

David: This is a great play-based preschool. The parent education program has also helped us in our home.

VSL: My daughter loves this school. The class size is small and intimate. She has developed close friendships with her classmates and loves the curriculum and field trips. The coop and play-based approach allows us to be involved in the classroom and have fun with her and her friends.
