Mary Lyn Nair: Mary Lyn Nair: HomeConnection has been the greatest experience for my four children. We have been with this program for 8 years. The children have gotten their basic studies at home plus a massive amount of studies that has helped develop their individual interest and strengths for example- Advance Vocal Tech, Novel Studies, Advanced Robotics, Ballroom Dance, Karate, Movie Literature, College Prep., Dissection Class plus Human Biology, Latin and Greek Roots Class and so much more. HomeConnection has provided an incredible atmosphere of love, respect, lifetime friendships and proper growth and development for my students / children. The children come out of this program with not only knowledge, but a great knowing about themselves, about their talents, gifts, goals and future aspirations. They develop wonderful relationships with children of all ages and many beautiful families and teachers. This program helps each individual develop a learning plan based on their goals, interest and gifts. It has been absolutely wonderful to see my four children thrive in this program with one now moving on to Running Start Program at WCC with focus on AA in Visual Communications.
Tami Mikkelson: HomeConnections is an amazing program combining both a traditional albeit smaller classroom setting with a support system for the home based education portion. Our family has enjoyed being a part of this alternative ed. program for the last 5 years. I have seen tremendous growth in the kids in real specific areas of learning like music, art, and language. The teachers there are great and have the ability to really connect with the kids due to the classroom size. We are very grateful for this educational opportunity. It is a perfect fit for our learning goals for our kids. This comes from both a parent as well as a teacher at HomeConnection.
