What has happened to our school system
I have a niece in this school. In the past few years I have noticed that this school has allowed bullying and the systematic decline of teaching English and pushing Spanish to the extreme. I am all for being bilingual and the young learn a second langue faster than and adult. I should be both ways if your Spanish you should learn the language of the country you are living in. Also the history of both countries but more so the country you again are living in. I have also recently seen students afraid of a teacher not respect for a teacher, What are we teaching our kids. Also when has it been asking a child about the family that includes what are the ages what do they do have they has children, Do they have pets, how many people live in the house. I am an Aunt but I do have a right to privacy. I understand the art of conversation, but not interrogation. Some of the question posed where inappropriate. No matter how they were spun. I have worked with children for years and CPS so I am very concerned about what I see happening so far in this school. It may not be the schools agenda but it seems to be a few that I have encountered thus far.
