River Ridge High School Reviews
On Wednesday, June 8th I brought food to my granddaughter and medication as she was suffering from a severe headache. The Nurse witnessed my giving her the medication which was to be followed with food. So as not to miss her cooking class she had been told in the pass that she would be able to eat in her cooking class. It seem that the teacher Ketcham determined that the act of eating at this time did not apply to my granddaughter. Whereas she not only did not let her eat it but proceeded to take it away and toss in in the trash. Now I am very upset by this as I spent money for this food and want an apology and reimbursement for the money I spent since my time cannot be compensated for. As a senior citizen on a fixed income and resident of Lacey for over 35 years, a taxpayer long before Riverridge school was built and can little afford to have my money tossed in the trash, I fully expect that someone, Ketcham, Principal or whoever will reimbursement me I don't care who. Just so you know, this note applies to the Principal as well. My question is: Do this teacher not know how to treat students just because they may be African American?? That is my special concern today.
