Lochburn Middle School Reviews
I'm a teacher, and I along with other dedicated staff here are consistently implementing innovate ways with sincere efforts to provide the best education for our students each and every day. Granted, due to budget cuts we have our challenges, not unlike most institutions in today's economy, but we continue to strive to do all we can towards optimum student achievement in our classrooms. For public institutions of the past had far less financially, but yet still, provided successful paths for students. Any matters concerning student education can be resolved with parental support and communication between parents and teachers. Steps in that direction would certainly benefit our students overall progress.
Lochburn is really a disappointment in the education system. Teachers act like they are power deprived and treat students poorly, do not return assignments which will let parents know how their child is doing, refuse to honor doctor notes , use numerous excuses for their behavior, not to sufficient in teaching skills, and very poor mentors to the students attending. Teachers and the principal need to start acting like a school, setting good examples, and stop using pathetic excuses when confronted on situations, as they wouldn't tolerate it from students! Lochburn is poor achievement because it has the lack of teachers caring about the education. I've heard many times from staff that Lochburn has a high poverty level, is that an excuse to not properly teach, or set good examples, or an easy way out to slack on your own jobs.
