Roxhill Elementary School Reviews

Roxhill Elementary is an outstanding example of how an elementary school should be!  The teachers are fantastic, they provide an outpouring knowledge to the students in a very compassionate way.  From the office staff to the principal every single person is very much valued and knows it every single day.  Many in the community who choose to send their children to other schools are underestimating Roxhill because of the large Hispanic student population and the school's location.  That is fine, stay at your school so we can keep Roxhill the very nurturing and loving environment it truly is.  Since being a parent of Roxhill I have taken on many roles at the school via volunteering.  Our daughter skipped 1st grade last year and is in the 3rd grade, a true example of the education opportunities she has had at Roxhill, versus other area schools where she would have remained in 1st grade.  Roxhill teachers teach at the childs learning level and abilities, knowing each and every child learns at a different pace.  Our family will continue to support Roxhill long after our daughter graduates from 5th grade.

Roxhill shows that diversity works well in education, a lesson that many other area schools could learn.  The population at Roxhill is the future and instills a sense of pride being that many students and families are from foreign countries and through that this teaches all students diverification that will serve them all well after their education is done and they are in the work-force.

If only I could turn back time and enroll our daugter at Roxhill for preschool and we could stay at Roxhill even longer!  We had a miserable experience at a local school and our family as embraced Roxhill, as Roxhill has embraced our family.

"This school has absolutely changed my son's life! He is a brilliant kid who has a learning disability, and the staff absolutely understands his situation and teaches the way he learns! They are so insightful, understanding and capable, I feel lucky that we are part of that community."

"They have a newly built building which is absolutely gorgeous and very well laid out. In general the staff is caring, but firm. Only bad thing is that parent involvement is not encouraged. Yet!!"
