Preston High School Reviews
Turn away from this high school and never look back! TURN. AWAY.
Oh, wow. There are so many words to describe Preston High School, and none of them are good. I don't even know where to begin. Yes, it's that bad. If you want your child to feel the high that comes with great success, don't bring them here. Most of the teachers don't care about your grades (truly, there are only a handful of teachers who actually care), the students are racist and completely ignorant/rude (there are some who are well-mannered and very nice, and I've really appreciated those people), and don't even get me started with administration.
Administration has absolutely no idea what they're doing. In fact, they are doing their jobs so poorly that the STATE had to take over. And that's another thing: Can someone please explain to me how we happen to have enough money to build a new football field? Oh, right. BECAUSE THAT'S ALL THEY CARE ABOUT.
Sports is and always will be their main concern. Oh, and the little things, like holes in the knees of your jeans. Believe me when I say that the staff cares about holes in your jeans more than they do about the kids smoking marijuana in the bathroom. And they don't care about order; they care about CONTROL.
[content removed by School Finder Review Team]. The only nice, clean bathroom in the entire building is in the concourse, so the school can trick our "visitors" into thinking our school is just the best. The other restrooms have only one or two stalls that DON'T have the doors ripped off of them.
Numerous people have already transferred to different schools. Over 200, to be exact. So please, parents, do yourselves a favor: SEND YOUR CHILDREN TO ANOTHER SCHOOL. Oh, but not Morgantown schools because they refuse to accept any more Preston High students...BECAUSE SO MANY ALREADY LEFT FOR MORGANTOWN. Yeah, they ran out of room. I have one year left in this place, and I can't even go through with it. I shouldn't have even given this school a one-star. In fact, ignore the star; this place doesn't even deserve one.
I've decided to end my review here. I could go on for hours, and I hope I've got my point across. I sincerely hope I said enough to change your mind if you're a parent planning to send you child to this..."school."
Not enough help for students, and the school needs help bad. The teachers don't care as much as the students. I still don't know how to do long division. Dumbest school ever.
