Edgerton Elementary School
I give this school a Big Thumbs Up. My brother, a school psychologist, recommended this school. I live in Milwaukee and used open enrolledment to get my daughter into the Whitnall School District after hearing so many good things about it. My daughter had high test scores and I didn't want her to lag behind in a school system that doesn't score well. She really loves the school, was voted into school council her first year and was highly challenged and motivated by her very insightful teacher. The school has their act together when it comes to disipline, so there aren't many problems. In our experience if any problem arose, the teachers and principal attended to the matter immediatly. After working for MPS for the past 18 years, I am thrilled to see some schools that are still serious about educating and the overall character of our children. I am not rich and have to live in Milwaukee for my job, so thank God for open enrollment
