Eastside Elementary School Reviews
I absolutely love this school. This is our son's first year and we have been extremely pleased. There is a strong sense of community at this school and the teacher's seem genuinely happy to be teaching there. Our son is very shy and we were worried how he would adapt to kindergarten, but he has grown immensely in a short period of time. He looks forward to school every day.
This is an outstanding school. Many very caring teachers who value their students as individuals, and not just a job. Yes I'm sure there is some of that, but very little, and certainly not at the administration level. I would recommend the school to anyone, and so would most I talk to.
I loved Eastside school. Everyone really put kids first. Teachers all knew their students worked hard to help them be their best! I didn't care for the Gifted program either but everything else was awesome.
This was a cruddy school (and I've seen a lot, 4 in 12 years). I transfered there in the middle of 3rd grade from Missouri. Trust me, this is NOT a good school to transfer to. The teachers were all right, but the gifted programs are HORRIBLE. I know, because I was a pretty gifted student. They ended up sending me to the middle school for half the day because they didn't want to have to deal with coming up with individual curriculums for me. The staff was extremely politically biased, and many of the people in the secretarial office were cold and unfriendly. DON'T PICK EASTSIDE.
