Brilliant Beginnings Day Care Reviews
Just enrolled at Brilliant Beginnings Day Care a few weeks ago, but so far things are going great! I'm leaving a review here because I was so impressed with the summer program they plan to offer this year! If you have a school-age child, check out Brilliant Beginnings for summer activities. They do a lot!
Brilliant Beginnings was the most fake preschool we have ever attended. Teachers were constantly preoccupied, and changing... I would NOT recommend it!
Enrolling in Brilliant Beginnings has been such a great experience for our family. We have been attending since this center opened two years ago and could not be happier. The staff make us feel like so welcome and our children are excited to get to school everyday!
It's been three months since our daughter has been in the infant room & she's doing great. She's learning, having fun and the teachers have a genuine interest in her. Don't hesitate to visit them, you'll appreciate the facility & staff.
I do not believe that Brilliant beginnings is a healthy place to bring up your child. As a parent of a child in their infant room (who no longer attends, and is MUCH happier at our new center) we watched many of the state laws broken, or bent. I imagine that they have worked closely with the state licenser, but that never is a good sign! Most of the staff are attractive, and personable, but a lot of times is sooooo fake! If only we could all see this center for what it is behind closed doors. I do not recommend Brilliant Beginnings as a place to raise your small child!
As a parent of two children who attend Brilliant Beginnings I have been extremely pleased with the care they recieve from the great staff. My kids are exited to get to school everyday! The educational experience is excellent. I can't believe how much my preschooler has learned in such a short time. I can't say enough good about this fabulous group of people who care for my children.
You must have the wrong Daycare Center, because my child has been there since the center opened and we love all the teachers and have had no issues since they have started attending. Every teacher is very loving and and passionate about what they are doing. I would recommend this center to anyone with a young child.
While Brilliant Beginnings has only been open for one year, I believe they are on the right track toward becoming one of the top places in Waunakee for quality child care. Like every new organization, there will be some kinks along the way, but the logistics of the business, the curriculum and the overall dynamics of the staff have certainly grown into a loving and family-feel environment.
Currently, there are 4 staff members who have earned their DPI licenses, graduating with a four-year degree in Education. At least 2 teachers hold degrees in Early Childhood Education and most everyone has at least 5-10 years experience working within an early childhood facility. Of course, everyone has the minimum teaching requirements set by WI state licensing for working in a child care environment. Most importantly, every employee has a genuine love for children and their excitement for learning. This is evident by the way the teachers arrange their environments and plan their curriculum to meet the needs of each age group.
The licenser visits regularly and remains in frequent communication as the owner and director often contact her to ensure they are meeting WI licensing standards.
The center was recently approved for 4k to begin this next fall. Not every center has gained this approval; Brilliant Beginnings has proven it is a quality program operating towards meeting the needs of working families in Waunakee.
I suggest scheduling a tour, talking with current families and checking things out for yourself to find out if Brilliant Beginnings is the right fit for your family.
I agree with both of these posts. Enrolling our child here was the worst decision. Our tour was a bait & switch - what we were told during our tour wasn't what my child received. Leadership & staff haven't addressed our questions or answered our concerns. Center policies seem vague. There's been a high turnover of staff. My child has verbalized not being happy there & says the leadership & staff are mean. There have been recurring unexplained marks on my child. We've been discouraged by leadership and staff from voicing our opinions about policies and practices. Plus other parents have been voicing their concerns to me. We are leaving and have found care elsewhere. Please do not bring your children here.
I agree with the above post. I also have a hard time with this child care center. It seemed to me that very few staff there have adequate education when it comes to being on the cutting-edge of child development and education... I currently have my child enrolled, but am actively looking elsewhere for her to go. I have a hard time paying the amount I pay to this child care center when I feel there is a lack in quality of the staff and the leadership of the staff. Although most of the staff is pretty to look at, looks aren't everything... esp in a child care center.
