I was a good kid but got a traffic ticket and put on probation and my mom got mad at me and next thing I knew I was on my way from RS to Sheridan in 1985.  I still have nightmares from being in Mountain View East group & my counselor Mark was horrible and Ms. Miller was the WORST human being ever put on this earth!  I played their stupid games and got out in 6 mos, turned 18 and moved OUT of that state as fast as I could.....

I'm am happy to hear stories about girls leaving the girl school and doing good! I was there two years first in verda dorm then in Morton. And to this day I am thankful for wgs! And to hear the good it's brought to other girls makes me happy because without wgs I wouldn't be here today happy healthy married and have a great future!

Rachel, I came across this review and it brought a tear to my eye. I was is in Mountain View dorm also! Over 10 years ago the sate of Wyoming sent me to the Girls School. I look back now and have very fond memories, I grew and learned so much there.  I would not be where I am today had it not been for the Wyoming girls school, I am so grateful to the peers and staff who helped me during my time there. The program is a wonderful tool to help troubled teens. I am forever indebted to this program it turned my life around. I am now a successful Realtor, wife and mother.  I can only imagine where I would be today had it not been for this program!
Much love Jamie B.

. My mom just got sent to prison and the same day i was sent to the wyoming girls school. I was 16 years old and very scared to go.  Dennis the security guard was so nice when he picked me up from the green river county jail. He knew  that i was broken down and was ready for something different.
At first i was scared going up the road to mountain view building.  For the first time i thought i can be somebody.  Gary Kopsa knew that he aloud me to do panels with the law enforcement i even got to met the governor JIM GERINGER, he was so nice to me. I can't express how the girls school changed me i learned how to love, be in a stable home and how to communicate without hurting myself. Yes i was a cutter and the girls school showed me how to deal with problems and how not to take it out on myself...
