Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) children have poor social skills. Their characteristics make it difficult for them to establish and maintain peer relationships. Children with predominantly inattentive ADHD may be perceived as shy or withdrawn by their peers. And those children who have aggressive behavior with symptoms of impulsivity/hyperactivity are often rejected by their peers.
