Latest research showed that child depression is linked to paternal age. Individuals who were born by older fathers have a significantly higher chance of having depression. Studies also found that children who do not get enough sleep or have sleeping disorder also increases their chance of having child depression. Adolescent girls are more susceptible to depression than boys.
