When your child is struggling with his speech and you suspect that your child is having speech delayed, first have your child tested for hearing. If his hearing is fine, then you can begin to seek help for his speech. A speech language pathologist can help improve your child's speech using various of speech therapies. Early intervention is most effective and beneficial for children with speech problems.
