Add-A-Word: Making Compound Words
These simple words want to be made into compound words! Compound words are two words put together to make another word, such as breadbox, hatpin, and honeybee. To complete this worksheet your child will need to make compound words by adding a missing word to three different word groups. What word can make "room", "chalk" and "walk" all into compounds? Your child will need to decide what word is needed in each list to transform these words.
