All stories have to come to an end, but who says that the ending dreamed up by the author is the only possible one? For many kids, it's fun to imagine how the story they have just finished reading might have ended differently. Challenge your budding reader's creative side by finding a passage of text for him to read. Once he's finished, give him this worksheet and encourage him to come up with an alternate ending. Then see where the story ends up when your child is in charge.
