Aunt Marie needs your child's help figuring out how much of each ingredient she needs to buy for her cupcake recipe. Your child will practice finding common denominators and subracting fractions as she determines how much of each ingredient Aunt Marie still needs in order to complete her recipe. For the second part of the worksheet, your child will practice dividing fractions in half as she calculates how much of each ingredient the recipe calls for when cut in half. Baking with fractions is a fun way to apply math to real life.
