Help your child ease into grammar with a quick look at contractions: words formed by leaving out and combining sounds in a phrase. For example, "won't" consists of the phrase "will not," "doesn't" takes the place of "does not," and "haven't" is the shorter version of "have not." This colorful grammar exercise will give him a helpful boost in his understanding of grammar and contractions.
