For the first part of this worksheet, kids look at each four-digit number, determine the place value of each digit, then write each digit in the correct column – thousands, hundreds, tens, or ones. For the second part of the worksheet, they match four-digit numbers to the written equivalent of the numbers. Kids completing this worksheet practice reading whole numbers and identifying the place value for each digit up to the thousands place.
