About This Worksheet
Leaves may change from green to red in the fall, but the sounds of the letter e in these two colors stays the same. This worksheet will help your first grader understand the vowel e. All the words on this page feature a vowel e, but it sounds different in each word. To complete this worksheet your child must decide if the words have a long e sound or a short e sound.
