Map it! Scale Skills
What's the best way to avoid getting lost? A map is the best tool for any traveler, and in third grade, students are expanding their knowledge of the geography of the world around them. This worksheet will challenge your child to use the tools of a map. To complete this map she will need to read through the list of destinations, and then determine the distance between the locations on the list. When she finishes this worksheet she will have gained experience navigating a map, and learned a little about geography, too!
