Telling Time: AM or PM?
Understanding time is an important first grade math skill that's especially useful in everyday life. In the U.S., we go by the 12-hour clock, which means we have to distinguish each hour by daypart by attaching a.m. or p.m. to it. Help your child understand this concept by having her read each sentence, then determine if the event happened before noon (a.m.) or after noon (p.m.).
