Speedy Vocab for the Tortoise and the Hare
A story is best told using many different words. In this worksheet, a sportswriter is tired of telling a story and using the same words over and over. Can your child find synonyms for "fast" and "slow" to help her describe the race between the tortoise and the hare? To complete this worksheet your kid will need to look at the vocabulary words and decide which are synonyms for fast, and which are synonyms for slow. Then it's one rapid race to the finish!
