Vowel Sounds: Long E, Short E

(not rated)
Publisher: Education.com
Topics: Kindergarten, The Alphabet

Learning to distinguish between long and short vowel sounds is an important phonics skill for emergent readers. This worksheet gives kids a group of pictures to cut out. Each picture is an object with a long or short E sound. Kids say the name for each picture, then glue the long E pictures next to the sheep and the short E pictures next to the nest.
