4.1 based on 12 ratings

Learning to distinguish between long and short vowel sounds is an important phonics skill for emergent readers. This worksheet gives kids a group of pictures to cut out. Each picture is an object with a long or short O sound. Kids say the name for each picture, then glue the long O pictures next to the pole and the short O pictures next to the fox.
