CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.RL.5.10

:
"By the end of the year, read and comprehend literature, including stories, dramas, and poetry, at the high end of the grades 4–5 text complexity band independently and proficiently."

Our Take: This Common Core node simply states that students in fifth grade should be progressing as independent readers. Challenge your students with more advanced reading material in multiple forms (fiction, poetry, etc.) and multiple genres (drama, mystery, etc.).

These worksheets and lesson plans can help students practice this Common Core State Standards skill.
