Week 25

## Suffixes

Being able to identify a word's parts — including prefixes, root words, and suffixes —  can help your child better decipher that word's meaning. Because suffixes can be tricky to define, spend extra time on examples of words that include them. Begin with a common suffix such as -LESS (useless, careless, needless, flawless) and see how many words your child can generate and discover.
