Past Tense Verbs

Past Tense Verbs

Irregular past tense can be tricky. Keep a journal of irregular verbs and jot down examples when you read to your child. Challenge your child to find irregular verbs when they are reading, too!
Write some sentences in the past tense, leaving a space where the verb would go. For each missing verb, ask students to select one of two options, regular or irregular.
