Short O & Short U Review
Help your child develop phonemic awareness by asking them about the sounds in different words. Which words contain short vowel sounds? Which end with the same sound?
When reviewing the short O and short U sounds, have students brainstorm words that have those sounds and record them on sticky notes. Then create a T chart and have students take turns categorizing their words by vowel sound.
