January: Your Family in the New Year

The new year is an opportunity for all of us to turn over a new leaf. This year, focus on family resolutions: being physically fit, traveling, and academic success will all be more fun to achieve as a family.

Why not invite your children to join you in making New Year resolutions? Especially if they've had academic difficulties in the first part of the school year, January is a great opportunity to make a fresh start, and the right kind of resolutions will make them feel encouraged and empowered to achieve more.

There has never been a better time to make fitness a family affair. No need to invest in matching tracksuits-here are 30 everyday activities that parents and kids can do together to promote physical health, and have fun, too!

This year, make a resolution to travel as a family. With gas prices plummeting, why not a family road trip? Here are some fun games to play on the road.

When we think of tradition, we often think of outdated formalities that leave no room for personal preference. The new year is a good time to establish, or reinstate, some of your family's very own traditions.
