Create Your Own Christmas Story!

What You Do:

1. With your child, look through any old Christmas cards you have saved, and let her choose images that appeal to her.
2. Encourage your child to read the simple Christmas messages on the cards.
3. Help her cut out ten images. Remember, the process is more important than cutting perfectly!
4. Assist your child in gluing all of the images to small magnets.
5. Attach them to the refrigerator at her height, and let her imagination take flight!

As a supplement to this activity, encourage your child to write very simple 10 or 20 word stories about the images, and help her read them aloud to the family.
