Education.com is Getting a New Look!

(not rated)
by Mukesh Jain
Topics: Using Technology at Home to Learn, more...

Today marks the launch of a newly redesigned homepage for education.com. Why the change?

We wanted to do three things: make the page simpler, make features readily accessible and make it more enjoyable to our users.

Simple.

We've made the page cleaner by cutting clutter and streamlining it into a user-friendly format. Long lists of articles have been reduced to those that are relevant and easily browsed. Now, right from the home page, you can access all the columnists and view the most active user discussions, as well as go straight to featured activities and most recent articles.

Accessible.

With our new design, users will have all the popular features of the site accessible directly from the home page - whether they're looking for a school, browsing for activities or starting a discussion.

Enjoyable.

The new page will not only show featured activities, most recent discussions and top rated articles but also what our readers are finding most interesting, whether it is topics, articles or activities.

We've worked hard, but we haven’t gotten everything right. Let us know what you think, so we can make it better! Please share your thoughts with us by providing your comments below. We'll consider all your feedback as we continue to work to improve the site.
