Lincoln and Lancaster County now have a presence on the World Wide Web, accessible through the Internet. The City of Lincoln was awarded a grant in the amount of $185,000 from the Department of Commerce, which provided 1/3 of the project's total cost. With this service, citizens can: access information about the city and county departments communicate with government officials via E-Mail obtain agendas for meetings of the City Council and County Commissioners find a list of job openings in city-county government register to vote find lost and found animals see a map showing parks, libraries, and crime information in your neighborhood find out which bus to take, along with fare information Look up property assessment & tax records (real time) And many MORE features being added every month!
