Q:
Is my 10 year old's behavior normal or should I seek help?
My 10 year old is often flustered when asking me questions or even making statements. I have asked his teacher at conferences if she has encountered this. She said no and that he is an awesome kid. It happens often throughout the day and I try to not to get frustrated and repeat the question to him and ask him what he really meant. His older brothers do sometimes make fun of the way he acts. He is the 4th of 5 kids with a wide age difference the 5th is 3. The older ones are 17, 19, an 24. Do you think this is a factor? He often repeats that he loves me or that he missed me today. We moved from our hometown a year ago also. Now that I think about it there could be many factors in his behavior.
