11 year old sleepwalks every night

My daughter has been sleepwalking every night. She has conversations and walks around without recollection. Tonight she walked into my bedroom with the dog in her arms and left. I asked her where she was going and she ignored me. I asked her again and apparently woke her up. She heard me and answered "I don't know" Her sleep walking actually kind of scares me. How can I get her to stop sleep walking? Are there any natural remedies? She also sleeps at the same bed time every night. So it's not that she doesn't have a regular sleep schedule. Any answers will help. Thank you!

start with a conversation with your pediatrician. Sonambulism or sleep walking is not uncommon but can be dangerous in certain situations. Alarms, blocking doors, pets all can be helpful. Your local hospital may have a sleep center with helpful ideas for almost teens on their website. Make sure that she is as you said in the same bed, same schedule, and falls asleep without LED light, white light, noise eg IPod/Pad/Phone or TV.
