Have you talked to the school about what is happening to your daughter getting bullied by this girl? If the school hasn't done anything to this student, it hasn't stopped then I would get the police involved.

No, you need to, involve the school, but make sure they keep, the child anonymus, because if the bully or bullys find out it was them that told they will get worse....

I would go to the school first and ask for their help. They can do a number of things to help. Then if you don't get help, go to the police.

I suggest you speak to the principal, then the school board and while waiting for a response, lay a charge of assault at the police station against the bully.  Get the other children's moms involved so that you can collectively show them that it is a serious matter.  Your child has a right to a safe learning environment.  BULLYING IS UNACCEPTABLE AND MUST BE STOPPED.

Yes, by all means call the police.  What this bully is doing is against the law, no matter what age she is!
