What the Expert Says:

It's great that you are reaching out and wanting to talk. It takes courage to ask for help!

We are not exactly sure what your question is, but it sounds like you are wanting to tell your parents that you think you should have been born a boy. Although we can't tell you exactly what we would do, we can say that a parent's love is everlasting and unconditional. Parents may disagree with their children and not understand everything about them, but they will always love them.

We invite you to go to our website for teenagers and you may find more answers to your questions. From our website you can also e-mail a counselor any question or concern you are having, or you can call our toll-free hotline to speak directly with a counselor. Either way we are here 24/7 to listen and to help you through this!

Keep reaching out. Take care and hope to hear from you soon!
