Studying on your own is the beginning of independence. It is difficult for many students to stermine the main idea and what is important. One method is a note taking method called the Cornell Method.

Graphic Organizers are another wonderful tool for students who need a visual tool. My favorite is Inspirations. It is a program that allows students to be creative and use visuals to combine modalities.

The goal is finding the tool that will encourage your child to study. thirteen is a critical time for students to come up with tools to help them study especially if your child plans to go on further with their education.
