The question is why your son does not want to go back to school. Does he have any emotional issues that need to be dealt with? Is he depressed? Bipolar? Struggles with anxiety or social phobia? If so, consult with a mental health care provider as soon as possible so that your son can get help. Once the emotional issues are dealt with, the academic progress can resume.
Talk with you son, maybe he will give you a valuable insight on why he does not want to go to school. Has he been bullied? If so, you must talk with the principal asap or maybe even involve the local police. It all depends on what's going on.
