Dudley asks:
Q:

How can I help my 19 year old son who was recently diagnosed with severe dyslexia? His first year in college was a nightmare.

He graduated from high school reading at a 6Th grade level. How could his school do this? What can I do to help him now to be successful at college and later in life? What kind of help should I seek and where?

What the Expert Says:

Contact the counselor at the college and ask about resources for students with dyslexia. Most colleges have learning labs and tutoring to support students.
