My 3 and a half year old daughter is a very difficult child in all aspects: Potty training, eating, behavior. She is strong willed, demanding and stubborn and wants to always defy me and go against everything I want or say. She never listens to me. If I tell her to eat or use the potty she says no. If I tell her not to do something she doesn't listen. She won't sit still for timeouts. For example, I chase her around the living room to literally feed her, I literally carry her to the bathroom to use the potty. She is pretty much potty trained for pee (not poop) but just doesn't want to use the bathroom when its me who is telling her to. She doesn't sit still for meals with me (I'm a stay at home mom) but will for dinner with her father (my husband). She is highly emotional and throws tantrums and cries over the silliest things. She is highly intelligent and verbal. She does well in preschool which is 5 days a week for 2.5 hours a day. I am at my wits end with what to do with her....I feel like I'm losing my mind. I want to just get a job simply so she can be at daycare all day and I don't have to deal with her.
