You said that your daughter doesn't like memorizing and that's alright because non of us did but we were forced to do so. There are many ways to help her study and they are : 1) to make learning like a game and after all, kids learn through play. 2) you can make it sound like an interesting story. 3) you can fabricate a song forexample, if she had counting, you can use the song of the ten little indians; and besides, the alphabets were taught by repeating a song.
P.S. Forget memorizing for now cause we can't always count on our brain to store the information that we want for sometimes when we need the information most, we end up forgetting them. And besides, if your daughter likes writing, she might end up writing wonderful stories when she grows.
