Q:
My 6 year old son has tried on my bra.
Recently, I found my 6 year old son wearing my bra and looking at a picture of two models in their own underwear. It was a CD cover that he found on my iTunes. I told him that it was wrong to take my things, and asked him what made him want to try the bra. He said he just wanted to see how it felt. The next day, I found him doing it again, this time watching a video on the iPad of the provocative villain from Batman called Poison Ivy. She was wrestling another scantily-clad superhero. Both times, he had on my bra and appeared to [be sexually aroused: question edited by Education.com Community Team]. I have obviously changed the lock-code on both the iPad and the phone. And I have spoken to him again about it being wrong to sneak things from my room. I am now locking my door, to "help him remember." I don't want to shame him. But I am hoping this is not a sign that he is going to be a cross-dresser. He is otherwise very boyish. He is very much into all things boy, and even has a twin sister, whose girl things he has no interest in at all. Can you help me make sense of this?
