Q:

Why my 7 year old is stealing.

I have a 7 years old son and he take quarters we use for laundry and today he admitted he took ten dollars from his dads wallet. He has stolen ds games from other kids, so we took the ds away. I feel like I'm failing some where and he is getting worse. Good thing is he's not lying about anymore. But the stealing hasn't stopped. He says he steals money to buy candy. HELP.

What the Expert Says:

Stealing is a serious problem and should be addresses before it becomes more serious.  Please contact a pediatric therapist.  Your son's regular health care provider will be able to recommend one in your area.

Best regards.
