Hi Valencia,
If you have any concern that your child is having a reaction to the vaccine you should call your pediatrician right away. No one can determine whether or not the symptoms he's having are "normal" or problematic without seeing your son, or at least talking to you to ask more specific questions.
When my sons get shots, the nurse usually says redness where the shot was given is a normal response but if you're at all concerned you should give your doctor a call.
