Q:

Does the activity, "Grow a Sock Garden" work with a really small garden?

"I work in Taiwan. We have a really small garden with some grass and trees. Will this activity work for us or should I "plant" some seeds? I'd hate to get the kids all hyped up and nothing grows."

Hi, If you're uncertain if there will be enough seeds in a small garden, and you want to ensure that there are enough seeds to grow on the socks for the children, then adding a few seeds or adapting the activity could help. You could also give the activity a test run before doing the project with the kids, if you're worried about disappointing them. Good luck, and thanks for asking!
