Q:

In the activity, "Grow Sparkling Borax Crystals," how long (hours?) does it take to completely cover pipe cleaners with crystals?

"Someone mentioned 24 hours. Does this mean 24 hours for pipe cleaners to be completely covered, or 24 hours to start notice a small amount of crystals?"

Asked by Irene after reviewing the activity, "Grow Sparkling Borax Crystals":

According to the author of the activity, Sue Bradford Edwards...

In just a few hours crystals form on the pipe cleaners. In 24, they will be covered.
