Q:
Need advice regarding 7 year old boy with behavior issue!
We have a 7 year old that has been challenging since preschool years. On a weekly basis he gets in trouble 1-2 times per week at school for pushing, touching others, goofing off in bathroom, talking and lying. He lies so much that he forgets his own stories! We have literally tried everything and seriously don't know what to do. We also have him in sports. He is very talented, however at practices he jumps arounds, doesn't pay attention and doesn't do well like we've seen him do before. We have taken toys away, added chores, put him on ADHD Meds, talked to a Psychologist, talked to his school, tried love and logics, tried tough love...you name it we've tried it!!! He is very smart and might even be a gifted child. He rarely gets in trouble in the actual classroom. He loves school. It's during recess, lunch, bathroom breaks and PE that his behavior issues happen. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!
